Annual General Meeting (Members Only)

Annual General Meeting (Members Only) in the Panel Room at Park House (Toby Inn) near Town Gate, Sutton Park NNR on Wednesday 24th April 2019 at 19.30.
Our Guest Speaker will be Professor Ian C. Trueman eminent botanist, who has been associated with the Park for many years.  His talk will be entitled ‘A New Flora for Sutton Park’ and should make for an interesting evening.

Archaeological Walk No. 6, with additions

Date: April 6, 2019
Location: Bracebridge car park

Led by Dr. Mike Hodder and starting from Bracebridge car park at 10.00. We will first go into Upper Nut Hurst, and will visit a newly discovered lodge close to Darnel Hurst.  This discovery was made after Walk No. 6 was devised, so it is exciting that there are still discoveries to be made in the Park. We will then go on to Bracebridge Pool to continue our walk

FOSPA/GREAT BRITISH SPRING CLEAN in Sutton Park NNR Meeting Visitor Centre, near Town Gate B74 2YT 10.00 – 12.00.  We will be covering the area from Town Gate to Hartop Gate and returning via Blackroot Pool.

HAT – History – Archaeology – Task Group

We meet at the Visitor Centre, Sutton Park NNR on the first Saturday of each month at 11.00. – 14.00. to manage the areas surrounding the archaeological features around the Park, and enhance the visual aspect.
