Please note that the walks listed below may cross uneven ground and rough terrain. Please wear suitable footwear. All FOSPA events are free of charge and open to non-members, excepting the AGM which is for members only.

Archaeological Walk led by Dr. Mike Hodder: Saturday 08 October 10.00. from Boldmere Gate car park – This will include medieval boundaries, Holly Hurst and remains of a First World War camp.
As with all Fospa walks, there will be no charge for these events. As some of you will know, parts of the Park can be very muddy.
A.G.M. – Members only. Thursday 21 April 19.30. in the Panel Room at Park House (Toby Inn) near Town Gate.
Unfortunately, due to testing positive for Covid 19, our Guest Speaker from Historic England is unable to attend. Instead Fospa President Dr. Mike Hodder will talk of recent archaeological work in the Park, including H.A.T. (Historical, Archaeological, Taskforce) and the WWII camp at Streetly.

A New Walk Starting from Town Gate at 10.00. on Saturday 22 January 2022.
In addition to the archaeological aspects by Mike Hodder, there will also be two additional experts – Richard Orton will talk about the ecology, flora and fauna and Marian Baxter about the historical aspects of Sutton Park NNR, lasting approximately two hours, depending on questions and answers, please wear suitable boots or shoes for possibly muddy paths.
