Is this your first time volunteering with us? Great!

Thanks for your interest, please drop us an email first on info@fospa.org.uk  We will then know we’re looking out for a new face and can confirm the meeting point with you (as this can change) and can confirm if the session is running.

After your first session, if you would like to come again, you will need to become a FoSPA member (£5 per year), this is for insurance purposes.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their responsible adult at all times.

 

Our current opportunities:

Conservation Volunteers (fortnightly)

When - every other Sunday 10:30-2:30.

Where - location varies, see FoSPA Conservation Volunteer page or contact us.

Tasks - Varies but have included footpath repair, bridge-building, stream bank restoration and scrub clearance to protect the heathland.

We provide you with all the training and tools required for each task. Everyone does what they’re able to each time. Bring along a packed lunch, appropriate footwear and a pair of gardening gloves.

Park House Reserve Volunteers (Monthly)

When - 3rd Friday of the month at 11am

Where - Meet  beside Browns/Park House - (what3words: taxi.atomic.empty)

Tasks -Help us restore the woodland and wetland habitats behind Park House.

All tools provided but please bring along your gardening loves, packed lunch and sensible footwear.

 

HAT - Heritage and Archaeological Taskforce (Monthly)

When - 1st Saturday of the month at 11am

Where -  Location varies  (please see below for each task

Tasks - Working with the Park Rangers to maintain and enhance archaeological assets within Sutton Park

All tools provided but please bring along your gardening loves, packed lunch and sensible footwear.
